Cookie Notice

The browser storage Ancil uses, why it is necessary, and how future optional technologies will be controlled.

v1.0Effective August 4, 2026

1. Current use

The Ancil application currently uses cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary to authenticate users, protect sessions, remember workspace and display preferences, and defend against abuse.

Ancil does not currently use browser advertising cookies or third-party advertising pixels inside the authenticated application. Product events may be processed server-side without placing a browser analytics cookie.

2. Necessary technologies

Authentication storage keeps a user signed in and refreshes secure sessions. Security storage supports request integrity and abuse prevention. Preference storage remembers selected workspace, theme, and similar user choices.

These technologies are required to provide a service the user requests and cannot be disabled through a consent banner. Blocking them in the browser may prevent sign-in or core application functions.

3. Optional technologies

Before Ancil activates non-essential browser analytics, advertising, profiling, or session-replay technology, we will update this notice and request opt-in consent where required. Optional technologies will remain disabled until the user makes a choice.

A future preference control will allow withdrawal as easily as consent was given. Withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the change.

4. Browser controls and contact

You can delete or block browser storage through browser settings. Necessary Ancil features may stop working if required authentication storage is blocked.

Questions about browser storage or privacy may be sent to privacy@insidea.com.
